Creating Friendships, Community, Service

Founded in 2010, North Oakland Village is part of the national Village movement. We are a community of caring and supportive members and volunteers - neighbors helping neighbors.  We support healthy, safe and independent living as we grow older in our own homes.  We help members and volunteers stay active, become engaged and have fun, enlivened by the fresh new community our Village represents.

 Our Vision

Our Vision is to build and sustain a community where all are supported, valued and thrive as they age.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support aging in community in Oakland and Piedmont through programs and services which provide options for independence, engagement and well being.
